It is time to let go, your fall season has arrived

You are resisting your fall season and delaying manifestation of new beginnings. You are too focused on the dead and fallen leaves that you cannot see the beautiful life that lies ahead. You are too attached to the word “permanence” and delaying the shedding of old and dead leaves. Your new leaves are waiting and ready to manifest but cannot, until the old leaves are shed and on the ground. May you find strength and courage to shed things that are no longer serving you. May you also find strength to shed old energies that are no longer aligned with you.

Last Sunday I posted an article about the power of pruning. The feedback I received made me realise that the message resonated with a lot of people. This morning when I meditated about what to share for this Sunday devotion, I was reminded of a message that I received a while ago when I was taking my meditation walk. You will see that I talk a lot about my meditation walks. They are my sanctuaries that allow me to connect to wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I realised that this message was meant to encourage you and to tell you that now that you have taken a step to prune, it is time to let go of what was pruned.

Lessons from Mother Nature

Mother Nature is ever ready to pour out her lessons to anyone who is ready to listen. I  capture the lessons in my journal and use them when a need arise. As I walked, during this beautiful but cold day in the streets of our suburb, I noticed that I was blessed with a new and different view. I was seeing beautiful houses that were always hidden behind huge trees. The reason I was now able to see the houses that were hidden was because the big trees have now shed their old leaves and ready for summer season. I noticed the dead and old leave lying on the ground. The leaves that were hiding the houses behind the trees were now dead and on the ground.

Focus on what is positive

At that moment, Mother Nature taught me that many of us are unable to access the new beautiful views that are already waiting for us. Why? Because we are focused on the dead leaves that have fallen on the ground. I realised that it was possible for me to have missed  the new views if I focused on the dead and old leaves on the ground. We are mourning old things in our lives and refusing to see what life has in store for us. Yes it’s ok to mourn but let your mourning not be permanent. I pray that you come out of your mourning season and see what life has in store for you. Seasons are part of life and creation. We cannot avoid seasons. We must learn to surrender to a process. Some seasons are there to restore us. Some are there to prepare and strengthen us for new birth.

Let go

Mother Nature further taught me that many of us are refusing to let go of the old leaves in our lives. We can feel that fall season has come, but we are resisting and are attached to permanence. Old things can be toxic and unhealthy relationships with friends, family, partner, spouse, colleagues, work, career, material things, plans, thoughts, habits, or anything that you feel must be let go off.

Take a bold step

I hope this message serves to confirm that you either have things that you need to let go of or you are resisting the process of letting go. Some of you only needed this article to trigger a process of pruning and letting go. I discuss in details the power of seasons in Principles & Tools of Creation. I encourage you to get yourself a copy of the book. The power of pruning-your losses are your new gains

When life brings you losses, I pray that you see your losses as an opportunity to Desire, Intend, Create and Manifest new gains. For as long as you are still alive, know that you are still rooted and connected to the source of creation.

When you are still rooted like a plant:

You can shift and change direction.

You can create new plans.

You can start all over again.

You can reinvent yourself.

You can pick yourself up and rise again.

You can grown and develop.

You can heal.

Wisdom from Mother Nature

The other day when I was taking my meditation walk in our suburb, my attention was drawn to some of the huge trees that were lined up on the street. In particular, my focus was on the branches that were broken due to various reasons. Some of the branches were intentionally pruned by our municipality. I was encouraged by the new growth of strong and healthy branches that were emerging from the sides of the pruned branches. It was beautiful to observe how the pruned branches stimulated and encouraged new growth. I saw wisdom and the power of life in action.

I was immediately reminded that many of us are going through what is similar to the pruned branches. We have lost things or we are going through losses in our lives. Some of us have lost jobs, income, friends, families and many other things close to our hearts.

Desire, Intend & Manifest

The good news is that we can come out of our losses stronger and better if we can see our losses as an opportunity that places us in new positions to create new gains. Like the pruned branches, when you  are still alive, you are connected to the roots or sources of life. You are still connected to the Power within, co-creators aligned within you  and the Universe. Be encouraged and know that you are still connected to the sources of wisdom, knowledge and understanding that can help you create new solutions, new plans, new visions, new ideas, new career, new businesses, new relationships, and new everything.

Another interpretation of what I observed is that, sometimes in life our losses reveals our true identity needed to connect us to the source of life. We are surrounded by multiple  energies that are blocking the binding sites required to attract new and essential energies.

Desire and intend to grow and develop in new directions like the new branches emerging from the old and pruned branch. When you desire and intend, you are positioning yourself to connect to the source of creation. You are also calling forth wisdom that will bring you new building blocks needed for new creation. Remember that you are also the creator and co-creator.

I was also reminded that sometimes we prune our plants not only to encourage new growth but to  also design a new shape of the plant. In life, you have to intentionally lose or let go of certain things in order to shape your life and manifest a fulfilled life.

Do you feel like you are alive but still not connected to any source of life? Do you feel stuck and disconnected? I pray that this message will resonate with you, stimulate and encourage you. Some of you only needed this article to get back to your creation mode. Unfortunately some of you will need more than this article to prune and access your power to create new things. If you believe that you need further intervention to prepare you with pruning and creation, we are here to offer one on one life coaching, solo wellness retreat or masterclasses on principles & tools of creation .

Ten important things you should know about guests who attend your business launch

Please note that the percentages used below are not academic. I used them to purely put my point across.

When you invite 100 people to a business launch or a product launch, they are likely to represent the following ten interesting groups:

The first 5% of the guests

These guests are at the launch to witness and prove that indeed you have the guts to start a business. They are not at the launch to buy your products, now or in the future. Not even a good sales person who can easily convince people to buy a stone will change their minds.

The 2nd 5% of the guests

This group is there to fulfil and represent their socialite status. They can’t help but accept every invite that they receive. They are the “anything goes” kind of guests. Some of them are there to look for future wives and husbands. They are not there to support. Their presence has absolutely nothing to do with your business. In fact, they couldn’t care less about what you are launching. Maybe this group is the reason behind the new trend of requesting people to buy tickets for attending business launches.

We are now left with 80% percent. Let us break it down further:

The 1st 10% of the remaining 80%

Although, they have accepted your invite, it does not mean that they will like your products enough to buy for themselves. They won’t buy because the products that you are selling is not in line with their taste. Don’t take it personal. We all must be allowed to honour our taste. You also don’t buy everything that you come across, right?

The 2nd 10%

They will love your products, unfortunately at the time of the launch they genuinely won’t have money to buy. They are likely to contact you as soon as they have the means to buy. Keep these contacts in your database and send them information about new products as often as possible. A client and potential client database is an asset for any business.

The 3rd 10%

They will genuinely love your products, BUT-they cannot fathom the idea of them contributing towards your success. They are suffering from the jealousy syndrome. They will rather go buy at established businesses than buy your good and fresh tomatoes. Their only motivation for not buying is to avoid boosting your business. Again, hard as it is to swallow, don’t take it personal. Fortunately for you, not every person think like them.

The 4th 10%

They will also genuinely love your products, but they are already loyal clients to other brands who sells same products as yours. Again, it is not personal. You also have brands that you have been loyal to for many years, because those brands have never disappointed you. Maybe this is your opportunity to find new ways to win them over as new clients. Think outside the box. Look out for an article on how to innovate, to win over new clients.

We are getting there. We are now left with %50 person.

The 5th 10%

They are very sneaky. They will pretend that they love your products, knowing very well that they don’t. So to avoid being forced to buy, they will study your products and deliberately ask if you can make something different from what you already have in stock. That time they know very well that you don’t tailor make your products. If you are not aware, you will make what they asked for and they will be nowhere to be found. Maybe ask them 70% upfront before before you begin the work. That way you will realise that they were bluffing.

The 6th 10%

They are guests who do not necessarily like your products for their style, but will still buy your products as a gift for someone. Why? It is in their nature to support growth and development of small businesses and would do anything to support. They are just informal angel investors. Keep in touch with this 10% and request that they spread the word about your products. They will definitely make efforts to tell others about your business, but you must take the lead and make it their worthwhile.

The 7th 10%

They will love your products, but they are generally stingy. This group can’t even buy themselves a KFC street wise even if they were to win a million. There is really nothing that you can do to change their mind. Also, not personal.

The 8th 10%

They are generally slow to act and take time before they make a decision. They wait patiently and observe what the first actors are doing. You must allow them to indulge their snail pace nature. Don’t push them too hard, you may loose any chance of them coming back when they have made their minds. Keep their details and slowly get their buy in. Your chances of winning them over are 50/50.

The last but not least 10%

These 10% is your target market. They will love your products and buy without complaining about price. In fact, they will come back and buy more if you maintain a good relationship with them.

Keep on fishing

The moral of the story above is: In order to reach more of the  “last bust not least 10%” of your target market, keep on shouting. At the beginning, you are likely whispering. Increase the volume. Do everything humanly possible to spread the word about your offerings until you have enough percentage to sustain your business. Go fishing everyday, try different spots and spread the net wider. Your target market is out there in the midst of the many ten percents that will look like they are your target market when they are not. Don’t give up.

Although, today we have means to launch products on social media, the same rules still applies. If you still need new customers to build your business, keep on using every means possible. Even the big companies are still spending big budgets to advertise their products. They also know that they must continue searching for their target market, find them and encourage them to buy, year in and year out.

I hope this encourages you to see that you still have a lot of fishing to. Look out for an article on how to fish more.

You are the Principal & Manifester of your vision / dreams / ideas

Just because they don’t see your vision, it does not mean that the vision does not exist. It simply means that at this point they are irrelevant and non-essential to your vision. As soon as it is their turn to be relevant and essential to your vision, they will see it.

In the meantime FOCUS on the vision and those who are relevant and essential. Sometimes family and friends are the last to become relevant and essential to your vision. Sometimes they will never be. It is still ok. It is your vision to manifest and not theirs.

I hope that when the vision or the idea appears to you, you will have the strength to appoint yourself as the principal and manifester of your vision. May you not pass the implementation of the vision too soon because, you don’t believe in yourself enough to carry the vision. Believe that the vision is for you to manifest. Trust me when I say, that which lands on you has trusted you as the principal manifester. I understand that fears and self doubts can steal the vision or the dream or the idea because your fears or doubts are not unique to you. Many of us have gone through that.

Do you need coaching?

Sometimes, what some of us need is little encouragement, like this post, to start manifesting our vision. Unfortunately some of us will need more than just a post. Others will need personal and professional guidance on how to achieve dreams and visions. Maybe you are that person who needs someone to guide you beyond the post. It is time to invest in your personal development.

At Life with Terry we help our clients to realise their potential. I coach my clients to achieve their goals effectively and efficiently using Principles & Tools of Creation. If you have an idea or project or a vision and need coaching or technical advice on how to implement, contact me at bookings@lifewithterry.com.
