The Power of Honouring Sovereignty & Free Will of Others When Making Affirmations.
Aligned Manifestation: Honouring Sovereignty and Free Will of Others While Co-Creating the Life You Desire
In a world of vision boards, affirmations and energetic rituals, there is one truth that we often forget. No manifestation shall override the sovereignty and free will of another human being.
In a pool of all types of energy, and choices and decisions to make, we need the power and freedom to exercise our will. Fortunately, what other creators or co-creators do with their energy in your favour or against you will be subject to your will.
The universe will never violate your will. Any violation of someone’s will disrupts the balance in the universe. Respecting and honouring another’s will is a skill and habit that we must all master.
What people do to forcefully affect other people’s will and how they do it are outside the principles and tools of creation. This is a spiritual law that is into the very design of divine balance. Whether in the physical or spiritual realm, the will of every soul is sacred. It cannot be bent, broken or bypassed not even in the name of love.
Please bear in mind that affirmations are both spoken and unspoken. Long before they are written in a journal or spoken aloud, they exist as energetic intentions. They are whispers of your desires and frequencies of becoming. However, when you speak them, you clarify your intention. When you write them, you declare your readiness. Speaking is intention. Writing is declaration. Even when you are not speaking your energy and your alignment is always affirming something.
Free Will is a Spiritual Law
Free will is not just a concept, it is the foundation of your divine identity. It is the essence of your sovereignty and the thread that defines your path. Even the Universe, in all its infinite intelligence, honours the will of each being. It invites, it offers, but it never forces. Creation must remain balanced because what is taken by force becomes a burden to carry. Power is not found in forcing outcomes. Power is found in honouring choice.
The Third Party and the Line Between Desire and Manipulation
When you include another person in your affirmation or manifestation, there is a line you must not cross. Affirming things like the following will shift the energy from co-creation to control:
- “I want this person to love me.”
- “Let them return.”
- “Let them choose me.”
Instead, affirmations must honour mutual alignment as shown below:
- “I align with love that is freely given.”
- “I call in relationships rooted in mutual willingness and truth.”
Manifestation is not control. It is collaboration with divine timing, mutual readiness and alignment.
The Danger of Seeking to Override Free Will
Unfortunately some traditional healers, spiritualists or sangomas who operate in darkness offer services that claim to:
- bring back a lost lover
- bind someone to you spiritually
- interfere with the will of another person
Even if these practices show results, the outcome is unsustainable because:
- it creates energetic debt that you or your children will have to settle
- it lowers your vibration and open portals for more negative events in your life
- it leads to spiritual confusion
- it entangles your soul in timelines that are not yours to walk
- it adds to the burden / unresolved trauma that you are already carrying
Any creation that we build through manipulation is witchcraft and will eventually collapse under its own imbalance.
The Wound Beneath the Desire to Control
Those who make affirmations that are against someone’s free will or consult with an expert who manipulates energy to bring a lover back or perform any ritual aimed at manipulating someone’s will, often carry within them something deeper. They may be carrying any of the following:
1. Unresolved Trauma
Some of the people who seek to influence another’s will are not driven by malice. They are driven by wounds that never had space to heal.
This desire often stems from:
- Childhood abandonment or neglect
- Repeated rejection wounds
- Absence of love from parents
- A toxic relationship that lacked love
- Betrayal that was never fully processed
- Fear of being unloved, forgotten or replaced
- A past where love was inconsistent, conditional, or earned
Unfortunately, if not treated these wounds can trigger survival-based actions like control or obsession. It’s not evil. It is pain reaching for security.
2. Lack of Self-Worth
When you don’t believe that you are worthy of love that comes freely, you may settle for love that must be forced.
You may find yourself feeling justified to manipulate someone to love you and stay in a relationship with you to avoid being alone. But no soul can carry the burden of proving your worth. That work belongs to you. When your worth is not rooted within, it becomes defined by who chooses you.
If they leave or don’t return, it can feel like a confirmation of your unworthiness. This leads to thoughts like:
- “If I can just get them to love me, I’ll feel whole again.”
- “If I lose them, I lose part of myself.”
What we often chase in another is the feeling we’re afraid to give ourselves.
3. Lack of Self-Love
Lack of Self-love leads to energetic co-dependency. When your identity or joy revolves around another person’s validation, your energy becomes dependent on their presence, attention or affection.
Trying to manifest someone’s return even against their will is often rooted in the belief that: “I don’t know how to choose myself.” Unfortunately no one can carry the burden of proving your worth to you. That is your task.
Do the Inner Work to Help You Make Healthy & Balanced Affirmations
Learn to make affirmations that are grounded on love and respect for free will of others. In order to achieve this, you must be prepared to do the Inner work. In my teachings and practice, I always advocate for doing the Inner work as the beginning of everything.
Inner work includes Self-discovery, Self-development and Self-healing. Through this life-changing journey, you will begin to understand the meaning of love, and more importantly, self-love.
To deepen this transformation, I recommend that you combine your inner work with the study of the Principles and Tools of Creation. This will help you fully remember who you are as a creator, and how the universe responds to your energy, intention and alignment.
Instead of trying to bind another soul to you, ask:
- What part of me still feels unworthy of being freely chosen?
- Am I trying to receive love that I’m afraid to give myself?
- Is this connection, or is it emotional co-dependence?
- What is within me that is broken that I would feel comfortable to manipulate someone’s will?
Healing begins when you no longer need someone else’s yes to feel whole. What we chase in another is often the love we are afraid to give ourselves.
Respecting Alignment Is an Act of Self-Love
Mutual agreement is the essential and powerful building block of alignment. Where there is agreement, there is alignment, whether in the physical or spiritual realm. When a person, job, or opportunity you desired doesn’t choose you, it is not a rejection. It is redirection. To accept misalignment is to say:
- “I respect and honour my free will and the free will of others”
- “I choose myself.”
- “I honour my worth.”
- “I will not force what is not flowing towards me.”
- “I am worthy of alignment in every are of my life”
- “I respect and honour agreement”
To walk away from misalignment is to walk deeper into Self-love, Self-respect and Self-appreciation.
When you do this you are informing the universe and your subconscious mind that you align only with what aligns with you. In return, the universe echoes that truth through new doors and divine appointments.
Energetic Consequences of Clinging to What Is not Aligned
When you refuse to release what is not aligned, you unintentionally inform your subconscious mind that you are not worthy of manifestations that involve mutual agreement and energetic alignment. Without realizing it, you begin to train your energy to:
- Chase what is unavailable
- Accept being unchosen as normal
- Stay loyal to emotional unavailability
This creates a continuous loop of longing and emptiness because the universe mirrors what you believe and embody. And sometimes, the universe will give you what you are asking for, not because it is what you deserve, but because it is what you insist on holding onto.
That gift, received in misalignment, can become a curse. If the manifestation appears in human form, the person may be emotionally unavailable, unable to give you the love you need, because you manifested misalignment in physical form.
Acceptance: The Secret Door to Letting Go
Letting go doesn’t have to be dramatic. It doesn’t require anger or resistance. Sometimes it only requires you to acknowledge and affirm that “This is not aligned. I release it. I choose what is.”
The moment you say that with sincerity, your energy reclaims its power. The universe can then reroute your blessings to where you are truly aligned. Letting go is not loss. It is a declaration of self-love.
You are not here to control another soul’s path. You are here to honour your own. Every time you affirm, let it be a prayer that respects your free will, freedom and others.
When something doesn’t align, may you have the strength to let it go with love, because what aligns will never need to be forced.
Affirmations for Healing, Release & Honouring Free Will
I honour my own path and the sacred path of others.
I honour and respect my free will, freedom and the free will of others.
I release the need to be chosen, I choose myself first.
I trust that what is aligned with me will come in freedom and truth.
I no longer chase love, I become love and call it in with grace.
I am not incomplete without another. I am whole within myself.
I release all attempts to control what was never mine to hold.
May all connections in my life be rooted in mutual willingness and spiritual alignment.
I am safe to let go. I am safe to begin again.
