How to create a seed that will help you manifest your life goals

Author: Teresiah Malatji

Create and live a fulfilled life by creating a seed that has all the essential building blocks of manifesting your goals -personally, socially & professionally.

I only declare that my season or cycle or year has begun when I have completed the development of my seed or seeds for the season or cycle in every area of my life. Once created, your  seed will ground you. It will help you to be intentional.

When we say that “compliments of the new season” we are referring to the twelve months cycle of creating or manifesting,  generally starting from January to December. Unfortunately for many for us we speak these greetings without thinking about and knowing its power.

A cycle has the beginning and the end. January as the beginning of the season is spiritually significant and therefore can be  used to plant the seed for the entire season. The seed for the entire season must therefore be natured and protected in order to bless us with the season of a fulfilled life, throughout the year. This applies only when you consider January to be the beginning of your season for purposes of creating and living a fulfilled life.

We use a season to plant and measure the progress of our desires, plans, visions, dreams and so forth. What have you achieved in the last season of 2022? What will you achieve in this current season of 2023? What are your plans for this month? or week? or today?  What seeds have you prepared? What seeds have you planted to declare that your season has begun?

Like the 12 month period of the year, creation is a cycle with the beginning, the middle and the end. Within the 12 month season, we find multiple cycles that have the beginning and the end. For example, we have a month cycle that has plus or minus 30 days. A month has four week cycle  that has 7 days, with Monday as its beginning and Sunday as its end. We also have a day  (a 24 hour cycle), with the beginning and the end. All these cycles have one thing in common, the beginning and the end.

Do not be religious about the 12 month season or a month or a week cycle. You don’t need to follow the conventional calendar for purposes of creating and living a fulfilled life. For example your week cycle can start on Tuesday and end the next Tuesday. You can also have a six month cycle instead of 12 months. You can also have a 24 month cycle, if you wish.

Be innovative and allow yourself to be cleansed from any limiting human made system. For example, if you read this article in March or any other month, you can choose March or any other month to develop your seed and begin your cycle as soon as you finalise your seed. Let your cycle begin when you are ready with the seed and when you are done with manifesting the seed, not when the calendar says it is the beginning or the end.

Until your process or period of seed production is complete, your year or cycle or season of creation is not yet started. Declare that a season has started when you have developed a complete seed that is ready to germinate, grow, develop and produce fruits.

When most people declare in January that it is a new year, I don’t declare that it is my new year unless I have completed the manifestation of the previous season and seed phase for the new season. This gives me a unique position to be in charge of my season without being placed under pressure by society.

When people get to December and worry that they have not achieved so much, I on the other hand look at a different month as the end of my cycle to accommodate manifestation of my seeds. If I develop new seeds and have no knowledge of the completion of their manifestation, I am at liberty to extend the cycle. For example, I can state that my cycle will start  from February 2023 and end in February 2024. If I am not done by 2024 February, I can extend my cycle with pleasure.

What is a seed?

According to Chapter 5 of my forthcoming book Principles & Tools of Creation, a seed is any building block that is capable of being conceived and birthed. A seed is also any building block that is capable of being reproduced, increased, multiplied, added to, maintained, grown, developed, restored and innovated. A seed is the first raw material for every creation.

What we do at the beginning of the cycle or season will determine the nature and success of the entire season. What I do at the beginning of every cycle or season determines the journey and the end of the season or the cycle. The success of my seasons rely on the kind of seeds that I create at the beginning of each season. I respect and honour the seed phase which is the most important phase of the cycle.

If my cycle is a week, the success of the week depends on the seed for that week. If it is a month, the seed for the month determines the direction of the month. Therefore, we must intentionally create time to prepare our seeds for each season or cycle if we desire to manifest effectively & efficiently.

In order to create and live a fulfilled life during your season, you must have a seed. In this case, your seed is your plans, goals or strategy or vision, that you must achieve in your social, personal and professional life. A balanced fulfilled life embraces all the three categories. In Principles & Tools of Creation I discuss the physical, spirit and soul persons. Each person deserves to be fulfilled. A balanced Self has found a healthy collaboration between the three persons. Therefore when drafting life goals for the year I cover all these three persons under the three categories.

A well thought and intentionally prepared seed places you in a position of being in charge of your life in all the three categories of life. If you are an employee, don’t wait for your employer to give you a year plan for your professional goals. What do you desire to achieve professionally? Is your current employer aligned with your professional goals? Align your employer’s year plan with your personal, social and professional goals. Be ahead. Be in charge and in control. When you don’t plan, they will plan for you and around you.

What happens during the seed phase?

The answer is simple. We create the seed. We create the seed by putting time aside to map-out the journey in every area of our lives, personally, socially, and professionally. We unpack and thoroughly draft the specification of our desires, our visions, plans, dreams and so forth.

Retreat for purposes of creating a seed

Treat the period of preparing a seed as a retreat. When at a retreat, you are away from the busy life and your focus is on the seed. Be disciplined until the process is over. Avoid announcing the process of seed production to the public.

Where you possibly can, avoid exposing yourself to the public. Avoid any distractions. Protect your energy. You are energy and you can easily contaminate yourself with any type of energy that you do not need during the conception phase. Any negative energy that comes through you will form part of your seed. Limit the amount of time you spend on social media or in public. The seed that you plant must be aligned with a positive energy. Your nucleus of energy must be positive. Your nucleus is central part of who you are. The seed that you produce is automatically linked to you spiritually.

How do you prepare your seed for your cycle or season?

Get yourself a journal, either electronic or manual. Preferably electronic so that you can easily amend as and when you deem fit before completion of the seeds.

Let’s assume that my cycle for 2023 is made of twelve months.  I will then use January as the period for preparing my seeds. If I complete the seed phase at the end of January, then my cycle will begin in February 2023 and end in February 2024, unless extended. The manifestation of the seeds may reveal new plans that requires more time to complete. There may be things that happens beyond your control that contribute towards the extension of your plan.

Life goals & power of affirmations

When preparing for my seed, I first unpack my life goals and then convert those goals into affirmations. Affirmations infuse my plans with spiritual building blocks. When I affirm, I announce my plans to the universe. I invite the relevant co-creators to the table of co-creation.

Affirmations unlock the process of attracting the essential energies for manifestation. When we make affirmations, we are acknowledging that we are co-creators in the universe and are ready to receive building blocks that will contribute towards the manifestation of our goals. Most of the building blocks will come in the form of wisdom, knowledge and understanding that we must put into practice in the process of manifestation. Some of the building blocks will come physically and require your intervention to put them together.

My plans/ goals/ strategy should cover the entire 12 month cycle. Each month of the entire 12 month cycle will consist of monthly goals that I must achieve to manifest the 12 month cycle. If I wish, I could further break down my monthly cycle into weekly cycle. At the beginning of each month, I prepare seeds for the month sealed with affirmations.

I divide my seeds into the following categories: personal goals, social goals and professional goals.

Under Personal goals I have: Physical wellness goals, Spiritual wellness goals, Mental wellness goals and Financial wellness goals. I unpack all activities that I must carry out on daily basis in order to achieve my personal goals? This is the beginning of success. If I am well personally, I will be able to achieve my social and professional goals.

Under social goals, I have: any goals that will benefit my immediate family, relatives, friends and the community. These goals must improve my relationships with my family, friends and community. What are my desires for them and what role do I play in helping them to achieve those goals. Look out for A guide to financial wellness to learn how to prepare financially in order to achieve some of the social goals.

Professional goals will be packaged according to the number of projects that you have for the cycle. For example, I will include goals such as 1. Finish writing Principles & Tools of creation; Sell x amount of copies, Secure x amount of speaking gigs; Develop a marketing plan for the book; Prepare x amount of ebooks and so forth.

Make sure that you have goals that are achievable and doable.

If there is anything that I can vouch for, it is the power of making affirmations. I have achieved and continue to achieve the affirmations that I have drafted, affirmed and continue to manifest without ceasing. I have manifested my career of healing, coaching and writing with affirmations. I share some of the things that I have manifested in my social and personal life when doing retreats.  Life with Terry is a product of effectively drafted affirmations. I use affirmations in every area of my life- personal, professional, spiritual and social.

How to convert your goals into affirmations?

Converting goals into affirmations is easy. You simply states your goals in a way that announces that they are achieved. For example, using the professional goals above: My simple affirmations will be drafted as:

  • “ I declare that I have completed my book Principles & Tools of Creation.
  • I declare that I have developed a guide to financial wellness ebook.
  • I receive wisdom, knowledge and understanding to manifest my goals.
  • I declare that I am goal driven, passionate, eager to achieve all my goals.

Your goals together with affirmations become your official seeds for the year / season / cycle. The above examples of  affirmations are simple and easy to prepare for a beginner.  The basic rule of affirmations is that you always state things as if they have already happened. The affirmations must be linked to your name by using the word “I”. Avoid using phrases such as “I will” or “I shall”. It is done in the spiritual realm. Use words such “I have” or “I am” and so forth. Any start is a good start and better than nothing. As a beginner your affirmations will be simple and straight to the point.

As you graduate into an advance stage of affirming, your affirmations will have more details when you begin to understand co-creators such as your sources of intelligence, various types of energies that you call forth to the table of creation. Your affirmations will also include the calling forth of essential spiritual attributes that are responsible for manifestation of each affirmation or a group of affirmations. One affirmation leads to the building of more affirmations. It is a beautiful and powerful process of creation when you know the principles & tools of creation.

When you are done with each seed that is converted into affirmations, print them out, keep them in a place that only you can reach. Bless and anoint them using any method that resonates with you. Do not be religious about these matters. If you feel that words alone are enough then use words.

For a detailed guide on making  affirmations, I recommend that you get a copy of a guide to making and manifesting effective affirmations and the book Principles & Tools of Creation as soon as they become available. The good news is that we do not have to wait for the release of the guide and the book to begin the important work of creating seeds for your cycles- daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. You can start now. I started with few words and as I grew spiritually, my affirmations developed into a booklet of more than 50 pages.
